Nearly there my Mongolia

One day rather suddenly I was given the contact information of a Missionary woman in Mongolia called, Duya. It only took one phone call with her for me to be certain that I would be going to Mongolia that year and a second to have me buying my tickets. My thoughts were so focused on getting there but at the time I was out of college and my living situation wasn't...ideal to put it nicely. I was in a jam but I couldn't have cared less! I was going to Mongolia and someone would have to tie me to the floor to prevent me from going! I started packing, buying supplies, asking for advice, and raising support. I knew that in two months I would be heading to the missions field so I scrambled to get my passport. Looking back there were quite a lot of people that told me I was being foolish to even try and go there alone. I remember people telling me I would never get my passport in time or that I was going to a country that was too dangerous or there were even concerns that because I wasn't a man I wouldn't have any success. Some of these things weighed on my heart but didn't shake my determination. Why? Because I had God with me in this! My God was so much greater than any concern and I would be protected and provided for in my service to him. Every single thing fell into place before I stepped one foot into that airport and I hugged my parents goodbye without a single tear of fear or trepidation.
When I finally sat in that plane seat I was overcome with emotion to the point of tears. I had done it! I had gotten on that plane and in about two days I would be in Mongolia. I cried tears of joy and thankfully I got that row of seats to myself so no one thought that was concerning. God had overflowed my heart with peace and as the plane lifted off the ground my heart soared with exhilarating wonder. I didn't feel alone at all or frightened of what my time in Mongolia would be like instead I could barely sit still. I boarded plane after plane and endured layover after layover until I finally landed in Mongolia.
